  • turbo boost gauge

    hi all.
i have bought a 3.0 surf and love it to bits.
i want to fit a turbo boost gauge to the dash but cant find one.
anyone know where to get one cheaply with all the wires for it?
what bar or psi should the gauge go to?
    thanks

Got mine of e-bay cost around £20 inc p+p came with all fittings needed except the mount which you can get at most motor factors for a few quid,i know you can get hold of some cheaper ones on e-bay if you keep an eye out.Mine goes up to 35psi which is well plenty as 12psi is the max on a 2.4 anyway!

Can you tell me where on the 3.0 engine to fit the silicon vacuum hose for the boost gauge please?

n ot sure about the 3.0 but on the 2.4 at the back of the passenger side of the engine bay there is a small box that says 'boost' or something like that on it with a small rubber hose, splice into that with a T peice and you should be good to go.

              boost gauge

              i got a 1995 3.0td and bought a boost gauge for it.
cant find a box to fit the pipe to like on the thread for a 2.4.
can i fit the vaccum pipe to the waste gate pipe or is there an easier pipe i can fit it to.
cheers for any advice in advance.
