can any one inform me as to why my cd as stopped playing??? . the radio and cass, are fine. just nothing at all from the standard kenwood box.
have used a cd cleaner no help there.
cheeers .
sometimes the laser part of the unit wears out, it then costs too much to fix in comparism to buying a new one!!
The thing can be fixed but probarbly wont be worth it , only saying all this as it has happened to me twice in the last few years , but they were all second hand when i had them so i bought new and had 3 years trouble free.

The easiest thing to do is get a mulimeter and check for continuity in all the wires in the cable from the back of the raidio to the multichanger, this will illiminate a possible trapped or damaged wire somewhere between the radio and multichanger. If you dont know how to do this then i would just go for a new cd player as the chap above says. The classic kenwood multichanger fault is a damaged class 1 laser product inside the changer box.
