any one got iders just put new head on 2.4 td 1992 surf now wont start jot fuel at ijector pipes glow plugs working timing spot on if i take injector out and conect it to injector pipe and turn it over the injector dont spray iv had desel pepole look at it and thay said i could have blowen engine control unit coz when first turning it over bat woz flat and so put heavy duty work shop bat charger on it but on one in this area can seam to check the unit out thanks

Probably the Fuel shut off valve wire disconnected on top of the fuel pump. Grey multi connector - easy to leave or knock off when doing the head.

Also if yours is an EFI engine its an electric fuel pump not mechanical.

That may be a litle confusing to some.A better way to describe them is -

All the pumps are mechanical.The 2LT-E has electronic components which control fuel supply to the engine.
