Indicator / wiper assembly reversal

Would like to change indicator arm from right to left hand operation. Has anyone attempted this or have any tips or info please.Thanks in advance. New member. Jock.

Just get on with it like we all do!!
Its great you wash the windows when you are meant to be turning and indicate you are changing lanes on the motorway when you cannot see anything throught the front wind screen!!

Just try changing the fuses over No just kidding...you'll get used to it. Only gone for the wrong stalk 3 times since acquiring the vehicle in March 2004

Think yourself lucky. I drive a brand new Hilux pickup at work - identical controls to the Surf (even though 14 yrs newer) but on the wrong side.
