Riddler - did you splice into the lilac cable or the green cable.
I am adding sat nav now and it would be good to know.

Also where exactly is the cable found behind the glove box.

Hi Karl,
If i remember rightly the cable comes to where the radio is from the top of the glovebox and is lilac and white in colour, when it gets to the radio it goes into a small plug and the cable came out of this plug green and disappeared into the wiring loom.This is the speed sensing cable, I just tapped into this cable and hey presto the sat nav calibrated in about ten seconds and has been working fine ever since.

You can tap in either side of the plug, green cable or lilac and white but i tapped in on the green side.

I have recently bought a nice little double din sat nav system out of a honda crv. It is quite simple to fit apart for one thing, for it to be completely accurate i have to connect it to the speed pulse cable! does anybody know the colour and whereabouts of this cable? hope someone can help, cheers.
