Heated window - Yes another one..

Hi all,

Yep turned on the rear window heater this weekend and nothing happened
Read all the posts, went out armed with screwdrivers etc and took the back panel apart.
Wires were off the connectors so thought I had fixed the problem when I re-connected them.
Unfortunately not.
I am getting an earth, but no live feed to the window.
Wound the window up and down until the micro switch met and the light on the switch came on, still nothing..
Traced the wire back as far as I could, and then checked from there (checking for broken wire) nothing..

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the rear window heater?
Been looking for a relay but cannot find one, does one exist for this?

Any ideas on what else I can try?

Hi its normally the live feed that goes, you say you tried the wiring, how far back did you go as i think that there are possibly two points where the wire can go i would still go for the broken wire possibility as mine was broke in one place repaired it still not working but when traced back found it had gone about 10" further, give the wires a good yank.

Ended up just a few mm from where the wires feed into the back door and still nothing on the live feed
