  • Heated window not very good

Hi does anyone have trouble with this, it seems to take forever to clear is this a common problem i think that i have read something about this before.

The 2 wires that go to it may have snapped or have a bad connection.
take the rear panel off & you will see them on the nearside of the tailgate.

yeah seems to clear about a few mm either side of the element strips then its slow ,i suppose by nature these elements heat and gradually heat the glass maybe they are not man enough , i know that home heated elements are like putting a spanner across the battery with the ammount of current they draw.

Just think yourselves lucky as the best HEATED WINDOW ever built was fitted to SKODAS as they kept your hands warm when pushing them.

Some quality cars built in the 70's ,mate of mine had a skoda rapide 'the sporty one' it was a good car they used to win all the rallys, we spent a drunken evening when he said he was buying a new car we covered every car you could imagine but as far as i can remember nobody guessed what he was buying.
