Number Plate Bulb Replacement

Hi All,

Anyone know how to get at the bulb on an '89 SSR Limted - I have un-done the two screws at the side of the reversing lamp/number plate bulb casing but it doesn't come off - wiggles a bit - but no go - don't want to break it - any ideas or advice ?

You need to lever the light assembley toward centre of tailgate.There are two lugs that press into rubber mounting grommets.A thin plastic spatula or something similar can be used between light and tailgate to force them out.A bit tricky but they will come out.

Tail lights are a similar setup in case you need to do them anytime.
