Dash Mounted Cup Holder

I have just purchased said cup holder for my 4-runner but seems that it is to narrow as the blanking piece is a lot wider. Is there another piece that goes into the dash to hold the cup holder in place ??????????????

I got one for my 4runner from Bob, it bolted straight in. The front cover of the cup holder was the same as the blanking plate.

Mine just pulls out & pushes in on my 93 2nd gen surf

I Thought That Might Be The Case. Now All I Have To Do Is To See If There Any More Goodies On A Surf That Not Fitted To A 4-runner
