Latest Update On My 4-runner
We got the heads of after all. They have now been skimmed and the pots bored out slightly. Spent £130 on a gasket set from toyota and to my surprise it came with the Head gaskets as well (result). Now have a couple of parts on back order and we can start to rebuild it. Only 1 problem my mate's done a runner with my valve tool so I am waiting to re-seat them. They were in a right state when we got them out some were black some were rusty. But have now been lovingly cleaned up and are all shiney and new. Thought I might have treated it to some new ones but not at £27 each. Well back to work now as I have to get it done in time for the Manx International Rally as I am a stage commander and it comes in very useful. Last rally used wifes peugot 106 1.4si and have just had to fit a new rear axle (D'oh).
