4-runner Manuel Gearbox Levels?

any ideas? ive pilled through the haynes but cant find anything, is there a view glass or dip? pointers please?

all diffs, gearboxes, etc...you fill them till its level with the fill plug hole, offically its 5mm under the fill plug, but top them up till it dribbles out is perfectly fine.
