Hi Guys I'm New thinking about buying a 3L Surf and have done the maths about fuel consumption and everything but what I was wondering is there anything I need to bear in mind that is likley to cause me a problem (like where they are prone to rust and typical engine troubles for example)

3.0 petrol or diesel? You're in the petrol section at the moment
They are not prone to rust really. The bumpers (look on the inside) and the bottoms of the doors sometimes.
Typical engine troubles on a 3.0 diesel - none really, but make sure the turbo isn't rattling. On a petrol, HGs tend to go at about 60,000km so buy one with them changed or factor into your offer.
