Anyone know where to get an exhaust (centre box) for a 2.7l surf?

That is , apart from Toyota who wish to take 173 +VAT of my English pounds.

Call Roughtrax and ask them, they can sometimes help. Or go to Powerflow and get a custom one put on.

I think you should try free flow muffler Im sure your surf ll be like rocket

Powerflow did me a full stainless CAT back for £350.

Makes sense if you want to keep the surf for a while...and it makes a much better growly noise than the OEM one

Mine needed a new exhaust for the MOT last October. I tried Roughtrax (they source their V6 exhausts from Toyota), Milliners etc. and the guy at the garage doing the MOT tried all his contacts in the trade…. none in the country. I had to wait 3 weeks for one direct from Japan. Cost around £180 IIRC.

Hi Guys,

Got it sorted from Toyota.
Apparently it is now built with stainless steel which can cause problems.

Got the centre box and tail pipe and gaskets and a new CAT sensor bracket for under £300.

Interestingly the centre box is now produced with what I can only describe as a vibration damper. (big rubber thing on a bracket)

I just need to fisgure out where a new buzzing noise is coming from at 28mph, 32mph and 58mph. don't think its anything to do with the exhaust.
