I PX-ed my truck against a 2002 Passat TDI 130 last weekend, I felt a bit treacherous driving away.
I got £1600 trade in for it which I think was very good as a few large chain car dealers would only offer £1000. The dealer tried his best to break it, giving it full revs in first on the test drive, it just kept purring!
The best bit was trying to get the dealer to start it. You need to swipe a fob below an LED, until it extinguishes, after a few tries a told him to try below it, he then proceeded to blow it (with his mouth). Lets just say he wasn’t the sharpest tool...
It was dedicated to diesel in Southampton BTW, his name was Pete......
Anyway thanks for all of the info from you guys in the last few years, I loved my truck and it was a shame that the cost of running it meant I had to let it go.
I’m off to join a mass produced rep-mobile forum for those who get above 45 mpg!
