Short Engine Req

Hi Fellow 4x4er's

My truck has now been off the road for over a year and now I need a short engine for it

3ltr Petrol V6 4 Runner

Any one help or even give me an Idea were to start and how much $ am I looking at.

I have one thing on the go at the mo but need to keep my options open

Company going to over Bore and drop a sleeve in. Counting the days now. Only been off road 488 days now

Still off road but nearing completion. Had all pots bored and crank ground etc. Estimate it will be apx 3.3ltr

Hope all goes well with this Steve seeing the original thread start date . Most would have given up by now. Bit like my Lotus rebuild 20 years and still counting !

Well thats what the dino states but I am no expert. All I know is has now done a 1000 miles and goes like **** of a shovel but then so does the petrol. Just need to sort out the shocks and for some reason the 4 wheel drive train has stopped working, Lever goes into it okay and there is a clunk but no light on the dash and on Saturday was playing in the forest as Stage safety Unit for a rally and rear drive only, Any clues anyone ?

Okay think there is a lose wire somewhere as it worked twice the other day. Time to get the spanners out again

sounds like a vac pipe is off or damaged do a search on here for vac pipes there is a diagram of the pipes you need to check.
