Has anyone changed or repaired a starter motor on a 3.0ltr v6 as the only links point to a 3.0ltr td and they look different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, its much the same for fixing the starter, its smaller than the deisel ones though.
It was a while ago I did one, but I think its on the opposite side to the deisels, it should come out through the removeable plate under the wheel arch.4x4toys.co.uk - Keeping you on and off the road... -

If you go to yotatech and have a look on there there are a few right ups and they are for the v6, its really easy to do if you have some long extension bits for you socket set other wise its really trick to get to.
The part numbers if you are just replacing the contacts are also on the american forumComment
