Overheating

Can anyone please tell me if the 3.0 are prone to overheat only we are getting one soon.

Judith the 2.4 has its overheating problems 3.0 does'nt seam to have these problems.

They arn't prone to overheat, however like most Toyota's from the early/mid 90's (it was whan they did away with nasty asbestos apparently) there was a problem with the headgaskets, most of have been changed by now, but just keep an eye on the coolant level.

The faulty ones only lasted about 50,000 miles, so if its done more than that its probably been fixed already.
