              ain't that the truth!
always knew the refurb would be the easy bit.

              soon,though.very soon.
unfortunately i start a new job tomorrow, and im going to have to concentrate on that for a while, but i would like to get at least the coal burner out for next month, as i turn 50, and it would be a nice present.

just some boring stuff to add so far,
starter motor rebuild kit fitted, nothing more than the wear you would expect from a 20 year old starter, with 140,000 on it.

                    new bits fitted.

then a liberal helping of copper slip, and its back where it belongs, repair done to the broken excitor wire, and bench tested with an old battery. went like a good 'un.

started new job this week, so im going to have to focus on that for a while, might get some tinkering done in the evenings, though.

another little job, crossed off the list.
injector re-furb. have sonic bathed them, a few months ago,but new seals and o-rings,filters, etc. glad i did, the old filters were pretty nasty, and a couple of them ,squashed and twisted?

                      all back together,again.

What fans are you using there? i'm trying to find some to fit in as pull fans but it's all a bit tight. The one fan i had before ended up flexing and then chafing/breaking on the radiator itself after a while. Dual might be a bit more rigid to stop that.

rad and fans are from a Subaru Impreza WRX 2001-07 .
may need some modding, but i've seen a similar set up in the Overfab conversion.

                              few more updates.
transfer box got from tony ,so thats underway, once cleaned and painted.
                              underside re-done.

started getting the bits and bobs for the exhaust system.

and i'm planning a rework of the engine plastic's. few ideas, but i'll be keeping the overall look, but making it a bit less concealing.
