Can any of those that have used a LS400 for the engine conversion tell me if there is any merit in stripping the remainder of the car and selling the spares or do the parts not sell that quick?

If that's the case, I'll take out the engine/box/loom and get the car removed asap.

    TIA

I sold the disks and callipers to someone with a supra...

I have the sat nav and phone kit, as I figured that they are decent value, and easy to store.

    I used the steering wheel

The rest was binned. (Read used as a skip for the rest of my engine transplant rubbish, then weighed in)
    More Lift.
    More Tyres.
    More Engine.

I sold loads. Things like interior door handles go for £15 each, window motors can fetch a bit, cluster, trim etc etc. Still got bits to sell (when I can be bothered).

Both cars have left me with over £300 up and that's including the stuff I needed and purchase price.

Basically...I was paid handsomely to have a couple of V8s

Thanks for the replies. I'll strip the interior goodies then scrap what remains
