        Auction has ended... How much was it?

        I remember paying £10k for a Soarer!!! No one knew what they were back then it great fun scaring new (then) 911s and M3s!

        Great underestimated cars!
        More Lift.
        More Tyres.
        More Engine.

            yeah girlfriend of mine worked with a load of guys who were buying Escort cossies and fast German stuff and wanted something that was different but would stay even at the water cooler statistics competition.

            i think we paid about 8.5k for one back then and it was cheap 'cos it came from a repossession auction.

            the 6 pot turbos were apparently faster than the v8s

              They were. the 2.5 TT then the 3.0 TT and then the V8, just need to put a blower on the V8 and away you go. Apparently the straight 6 are better for tuning though.

                  My mate Matt bought that!!!

                  He bought a V8 MKIV soarer built by a "recognised tuning company" and the job is an utter disgrace...

                  Saying as he has to rewire it all anyway, he figured he might as well give that a go too!
