new engine

Hi guys. I have a 91 hilux surf 2.4td i just wanted to know if i can fit a 3 litre td engine to the 2.4 gear box and are the engine mounts the same

Different mount positions, different wiring loom, different ECU, different instrument cluster, different radiator, different exhaust...............

Easier to buy a 3.0.

easiest swap is to fit the 2.8 3l engine or the 3 liter 5l engine. fit the old turbo gear on them.
