So once I dropped it down approx 10mm the shaft now has more clearance which will increase when I drop the engine down onto the mounts I hope.

So this is where I had the t/c, it was too high here as when I bolted the prop shaft up it was against the sub frame.

So here you can see how close the cam bung is from the handbrake pulley, it's about 3-4mm so I may have to pull it forward slightly. Looking at the pic it may b even closer than that.

As you can see in the last pic it's pretty close!
But on the other side I'm also very close to the oil filter, I will turn the bolt around so I can just about change the oil filter.

    Update

So here I have the clearance between the headers and the steering column, it has to be somewhere near here because of the oil filter.

    Update

So today I trial fitted the engine. I think I have it somewhere near but there are a few clearance issues.
In this pic you can see I have the sump resting in a bit of 3/4 inch ply, it's not got the whole weight on there just balancing. This is resting on the steering bar.

Not sure if this filter is the right one?
Checked the pic in dannyboys thread and his seems to be more of a 90 Degree angle where as mine is more of a 45 degree.
So when mine is on the bottom it folds the filter up slightly?
Am I just not seein this right?
    Thanks
