Finally started the KZN-185 / 1UZ-FE swap this weekend, got everything disconnected ready to lift out (now waiting to get my hands on an engine hoist).
In the mean time, I thought I'd turn my attention to preparing the fuel tank to cope with petrol. I've drained the old fuel out but now I'm unsure whats safe to use with petrol?
What needs to be done back here? Is the fuel level sensor safe to use in petrol? Can I just disconnect the old fuel pump or does it need to be removed completely? Can I use the old fuel pipes, or should I use bigger diameter or different material hoses?
