That's why we come to you mate.
The combination of red, black and polished metal is bang on. I can't thank you enough for the time and effort you are putting into this one. I honestly can not wait to see it in the truck (& hear it).
Looks like Christmas is coming a couple of months early for me this year
Andy, are you in cahoots with Vince on the 'new product'?
Yes. I have a filter head and sandwich plate to fit the oil temp, light and pressure senders in. I'll probably mount the filter behind the bashplate so it gets cooled as you drive.
I had 10 adaptor plates CNC'd at a place in Scotland, that was all sorted for me by Gary-R and collected and sent on to me via Albannach.
What do you use to clean up the engines? Any particular methods, tools, liquids, cleaners etc? I am about to embark on cleaning up a LS400 MK1 engine and I am inspired by your work
Not sure where the vents are from as they were in the goodies box in the back of the truck when it got delivered here.
Gary will be along soon to tell us.
(p.s. They are fibreglass copies by the looks, and certainly not finished ready for paint as some ads state, took a while to get them smooth enough for spraying)

Ah, but if there is one thing beloved by a Vince, it is taking things that have no right to be glossy and shiny and making them gleam...!
