1hd-t x 1hz-t

Hello folks,
Does anyone here know if the head gasket is the same for the 4.2L 1hd-t as it is for the 1hz-t, the only difference between the engines is that the hd had direct injection but the hz has indirect as far as im aware,

Id hazard a guess and say they're different..due to the DI. You often find DI engines are a higher compression + the head & combustion chamber design will be different. As for the actual bore size ???
