sorry if im oin the wrong section just want to make sure ive got the right audience
my surf just snapped its cam belt and asking around on other sites here the recomende courese of action is to replace the 2.4 l diesel with the 1UZ-FE v8 lexus engine.
ive found all the guides and it looks pretty easy, i was just wondering if theres anybody near or in cornwall who has done this conversion that my be so kind as to show me their work and tell me how they went about it.
the only thing im concerned about is the fabrication parts (engine mounts) etc, im a competant mechanic but not a competant welder just yet
cheers for looking, i will be in essex and hampshire over christmas if any one in those areas have done this conversion, i will bring beer!!!
