Vw 1975 single cab pickup

Hi guys and gals

I am soon to be the happy owner of a '75 vw single cab pickp which has a standard 1.6 air cooled engine and bhp of about 5.

Does anyone have any experiance on changing the engine for a straight swap please?

I thought though not surf related, this might be a good tech place to ask.

scooby boxer engine,is a pretty good swap at the moment,allthough not quite straight forward,but just think 205 bhp standard tuneable up to over 500
