OK just sorted out the tap and dye on the gear box the middle lower screw thats missing from the lexus box and sorted out the speed sensor hole for the sensor and securing the rotory speed sensor on the shaft. as seen put on new new exhaust manifolds. just making sure all is sorted for when i put in all back in at the weekend. tacking the mounts together tonight and then drop it all in over the weekend and should all be welded in by this monday! then can do the wiring and stuff got to sort out the fuel tank in the mean time. as not having done it before we are a bit blind and looking on sites and sking questions from other people who have done it so taking a bit longer. have been waiting for bits though from america and the postal stike didnt help but that is no excuse! below is the details for the oil fitler reloc kit that i got that vince told me to get if he hasnt already given you the details

TRD-1113 OIL FILTER RELOC KIT 1 US Postal: 7-21 bus. days

the engine I have is from a Celcior and vince thinks the oil filter location is different to the LS400 so might not need to get the relocation kit. suppose its a case of wait until a test fit to see if its needed or not.

Yep, white. I didn't scrub any paint off them, honest.

Did you know that the earth strap fron the driver's side battery to the inner wing was broken? Looks like you've only been using the other battery on it's own for a while.

Washed the rad today, took half an hour of constant blasting from the hosepipe to clear the mud from the fins. Surprised the truck didn't overheat!
Looks in good condition otherwise, but I will give it a paint before fitting.

so what did you use to get it clean just a jet wash or some chemical cleaner??

Just hot water with Fairy liquid for most of it using a scrubbing brush, then paint thinners for the oily bits. Then a good blast with an air line followed by a wipe down with a clean rag.

By the way, I drained about 8 litres of diesel out of the tank, a full petrol can full plus a bit more.
