  • Number Plates

Look for some information and advice please re registration number plate sizes and shapes. Given that my Surf is (hopefully) in transit from Japan, can anyone tell me how big the rear number plate is on a 3.0 Surf. The standard UK 'square' plate is 13.5 inches by 8.5 inches. Will this size fit Surf or does it need to be smaller/larger? If so what size is ideal?

Would you recommend a 'square' plate for the front or the normal UK oblong shape? I ask the question since it looks like a good portion of the air flow below bumper level could be 'blocked' by the number plate.

If the recommendation is 'square' can anyone tell me what size it should be please?

Rear plate is called a Motorbike plate and I think is 13" by 7" whether it has a rear spare wheel or not, plate holder is the same size. However I will need to go out and measure it.

      Edit...

Yep rear is 13x7, front is standard UK front size 20 1/2 x 4 3/4

      Cheers
