  • Toyota surf ssrg purchase

Been offered a 1995 blue SSR - G surf , needs some cosmetic work doing to it , runs and drives good , high miles about 280km , exterior and interior in good condition , just needs a right good clean , thinking of making it a winter project get it looking good again , the guy just wants it gone £200 , I think its well worth it , are the SSR - G models any good

They are just the same as the rest with a few more goodies , like the fancy spoiler with the drop down mirror, folding wing mirrors and junk like that.

Like Alex says all good .... at that price it's worth taking a punt !!
Even breaking it would make a profit !!
            Good Luck with it ...

Got it tonight , not started in 6 months put a new battery in it and started first time , body work in good condition apart from a bit of welding needing done towards the back where you would bolt on the tow bar also its covered in green mildew , all electrics work , 4x4 all works , here are the pics of how it is now before I start restoring it

Thats a steal, provided there are no hidden, lurking, head issues, that will scrub up OK.

Gave it a wee run this morning and went pretty well considering it hasn't moved much in the last 2 years , gave it a quick power wash and was pleasantly surprised the way it turned out , its a good start for me to get it done up properly , ignore the first picture that was before I washed it

You might want to check the tyre sidewalls aren't perished from being long-time creased when they were sat semi-flat for x amount of time.

I had the RAC inspector get a garage to fit two new fronts to a Corrado I bought back in the days, he said if I'd gotten up to speed for a while they were liable to shear.
