Haha, no worries, the more replies the better, the forum needs livening up a bit.

Pressed the red button and it came out of park with no problem , so do you think it could be a fuse etc

As you have persistenly failed to answer, can I ask again? Are your brake lights working ? An answer to that may help us to progress.

              Red button.

Easiest option first. Check the fuse and change if needed. If the new fuse blows when you replace it then you need to start looking further.

Worth changing the bulbs as well and then checking that the switch at the brake pedal is still there.

I know I nagged a bit about the brake lights, but I guess you can see now why it was the priority task. glad you got it sorted.

No problem , I should have checked sooner , I noticed today when I connected my plant trailer and plugged in the lights on the trailer to the jeep the fuse blew again , wonder if its a fault with the trailer

                        Trailer or socket.

                            Red Button.

Funnily enough I was going to ask if you had recently towed a trailer, as that's how I blew the fuse on my Patrol and then found the connection between the brake lights and the red button!
