Cyl head water pipe connection

Just replacing the cylinder head on my 3.0 TD and for the life of me I cannot remember or figure out where the water pipe outlet between no 2+3 cyls connects to. Anyone help me out? It's forward of the oil filter and behind the injector pipes.

I am not sure but doesn't that just have a fitting in the head that a cap with a hose clamp fits over?

Just looked at a picture from a 1kzte installation and it appears to connect to the block hose outlet just below and between cyls 1+ 2. Any other info much appreciated. Thanks Nev.
