Recently my 1996 surf has started flashing the center top 4x4 engagement light when the ignition is turned on.
I get it out 8 times out of 10 by pressing the switch on the 4wd lever and driving as normal.
It's rarely in 4wd and this problem has only really started since having it in 4wd a few weeks back.
I functioned the 4wd engagement about 15 times and it's not coming on nearly as much so I'm thinking lack of use is the cause of the problem.
Is the solenoid serviceable or am I just needing yo strip something and clean something up??
