        don't touch the LSV !

i had a car that had similar problems. had brake specialist do everything to fix it. but still the same. took it to the old mechanic in home town, he took one look and said "brake drums are ****ed!
got a 2nd hand pair, fitted them and problem solved.

your foots going way down because the rear shoes are not making contact with the drum and has to much travel.
i would go check the auto adjusters. aways temperamental things.
also, if i recall correctly, how the shoes fit at the opposite side to the hydraulics. while your at it measure the drum size in case its to worn.

          Thanks tweake,

not going to touch IT neither. I changed the shoes last week that's when the probs started. Drums were perfect no lips etc and smooth. .......as I said did not adjust enough but the mechanic did...so he says. ??
Will have a complete brake fluid change and further adjustment if needed nxt week. Thanks for your input man...

          Regards
