tailgate gen3

Hi There,Have just bought a gen 3 with 100k on clock and everything seems to be working ok except the tailgate window does not work on tailgate key,and tailgate latch not working so cant open it.The rear window works fine on the up/down switch on dash so motor is ok.How can i access to fix latch problem,does not have removable panel like my gen 2!
As always any help is much appreciated.

Had time to have a closer look today and managed to get the entire inner panel off from inside with the door shut and reconnect the latch arm which had come adrift.The arm with a small right angle on the end of it goes through a cylindrical hole and used to be held by a white nylon thing (ferrule?) which is now u/s.Am trying to think of summat to use from kitchen bits i have or similar and will sort summat to keep it in place soon.In the meantime,it is holding and the tailgate now goes up and down,a novelty after having a drop down gen 2 for 10 yrs.
I am aware i am replying to myself here,but hey thats okay.
