1kz head bolt tightening

Hello, Is there any way to check if the head bolts have been tightened properly on a new head with new bolts - I have a feeling my torque wrench might be buggered. Followed 39NM (29lb ft) torque then 90 degrees twice. The first torquing didn't feel tight. Not started engine yet.

I had a similar thing when I did mine.
I was tightening the bolts and my mate was counting them off.
After we finished he said "did we do that one?"

Anyway after he went home I went round with my wrench set about 20nm under what I thought were the correctly tightend bolts and I just went round them all once then upped the setting 5nm and went round again and kept going until I got up to the "tight bolts " setting.
I found all were ok to within about 5nm.
So far so good after about 2000 miles.......

What would be the correct torque setting to be fully tightened?

That's the problem with angle settings and I can't remember what the max was.
