  • Air Filter on KZN130

After 7 years of owning my Surf I noticed that what I thought was a rubber blanking plug on the neck that leads into the air filter is only a sleeve that should have a feed (pipe)going into it ----what exactly does feed in because there are no loose pipes dangling about?

Hint you're not looking for a pipe, you're looking for a plug with wires. That's where the intake air temperature sensor goes.

Also for all the dirt that's got sucked unfiltered into the engine since it came out, that's the 'leading out' of the air filter side... cover/plug the hole with something for now if the sensor is missing or broken.

Thanks for the replies----as soon as I noticed that something was missing,I plugged the hole, will now search for a piece of loose wiring harness.
