Munster, help! I need a new fuel tank!

Lads, I damaged beyond repair the fuel tank on my 3L inter-cooled '98 ssr-x, % need a replacement! Had no luck finding parts here in Cork or elsewhere in Ireland... Any ideas?

Uh
I skid into a ditch off the n25 on black ice last winter and the tank was badly dented on a block of concrete whilst being pulled out by the emergency retrieval truck... It is badly dented, gauge is no longer operational. Is the 2nd gen compatible?do you know of any other compatible tanks?

3rd generation the fuel tank is opposite side of the 2nd gen.

have you tried jap 4x4?

i know of other breaker in ledbury (uk) as well.

i dont see many 3rd gens around here.

why you dont get made one of aluminium?

i recently got one to be an auxiliary tank for 50

Jiji; I spoke to Ollie who has the surfs for breaking up here. He has a tank, but he wants €650 for it, which seems high to me. Try calling him and see if he'll do a deal. I'll send you on his number.

I spoke to John, the guy on donedeal, on the phone. He has a 3rd gen that he's breaking, and has nearly everything except the transfer box (he bought it for parts for his manual one) His numbers are on the ad. He wants €50 for the tank. Very nice guy on the phone, and incredibly reasonable.

I'm going to him on Tuesday to pick up a few bits for mine.
