hi i'm trying to find where i can tap off a rpm signal for my alarm i'm fitting on my kzn130 surf 1993 3.0 ssr dose any one know where i could get a rpm signal from

Off the fuel pump.
It's the electrical connector on top of the pump IIRC.

Or the tacho signal wire at the smallest of the ECU plugs, (12pin?) black wire with silver dots.

I now had a look and the fuel pump there is a white wire and a black wire which wire is the 1 i need

i have also looked at the ecu i cant find a black wire with silver spots on the small plug (P16) but can on the middle size plug (P22)

Yep, thats the one. The black wire/silver dots under the black/red w.ire in your second photo
