    Power Increase Stats;
    Increase to 141 BHP from 116 BHP & 233-265 lbs/ft for models without an Intercooler as standard.

    Increase to 176 BHP from 145 BHP & 253-284 lbs/ft for models with an Intercooler as standard.

    ? I thought the simplicity of these engines made them pretty much untuneable (apart from snake oils).

    I've got a similar box from tun-it. It does definitely work on a 97 land cruiser Colorado.
    I've got it at its highest setting and very noticeable increase in power. It does however give abit of black diesel smoke when pushed very hard. Instructions advise dialing it down a few setting until smoke stops but I like it.

    Going to try it in my dad's import prado which has a intercooler fitted.

        It will be said that, as you are now getting more power per bang, you need less revs to achieve the same speed.

        But IIRC, you only get more power by putting in more fuel or more oxygen per bang cycle.

        The fact that it generates black smoke indicates un-burnt diesel, so it's just overfuelling, no?
