My surf has had a rear axle oil leak for at least 2 years I have lived with it as theres no contamination of the brake shoes. i thought i would give local toyota dealer a chance to quote me for repair. £688 with a possibilty of up to £1000 depending on degree of work. Jeez can anyone recommend me someone in Leeds/yorkshire who could do this.

Did mine with Vinces write up, it worked well. They may have quoted a big price as oil leaking from the axle can mean that your wheel bearing is gubbed.
