  • Intercooled Engine in place of Standard Engine

My Surf had a major engine meltdown at the weekend.

I have the offer of an intercooled KZ1-TE as a replacement.

How difficult is it to do this and what bits need replaced?

    Thanks ,

    Les.

All depends on what engine you have now and which model truck it's sitting in.

Add the details to your profile to give us a clue.

      My error.

I have a 3rd Gen SSRG and I am located in Cyprus.

In that case yes, the engine will swap in no problem.
You'll probably need the ECU for the intercooler engine, although it will still run with your existing ECU.
Oh and you'll need the bonnet with the slot in it.

The only difference between the two engines is the intercooler and pipework.
