strange noise?

I ve just got back from a 700 mile trip and from the drivers front wheel im getting a ticking noise exactly the same as a nail or stone in the tyre.There is nothing in the tyre and the tyres are only 3 mths old.The noise gets faster as you speed up.
There is no play in the wheel or joints. I ve got nothing stuck in the brakes.
Would the bronze bushes cause this sort of noise on failing?

personally having heard a few bronzebushes that have failed I would say no. CCheck cv boots etc as I once had the clip on a cv boot break, it somehow stayed on the boot but on part of it was sticking out and the shaft turned turned it caught causing just such a noise you describe.

cheers for the reply mate just checked them and they are ok. I`m gonna change the cv joint and see if that makes a difference.
