Hi I have a noise from aircon pump when engine runs, i removed belt, noise goes, does this mean time to replace? the air-con works 100% not sure what to do?

its a whinning noise, not grinding, it sounded like it was gearbox or bearing will have to investigate further,? i checked under her tonight and discovered more problems, o/s inner cv boot split in half, exhaust bracket loose as well and a bad oil leak ! wish i never looked! lol so its in at garage tomorrow for inspection, i was selling her on preloved, id better fix it quick befor people get interested in her.Comment
