Could you be so kind as to tell me what size spanner I require to undo the spill off valve, as it will be worth giving it clean whilst it's off the road.

32mm.
I used an adjustable pipe wrench to get it off, it's not stupidly tight.

I thought so, I did try a pipe wrench but because I'm trying to do it in situ, I couldn't get the jaws around the valve.

I'm going to buy a 32mm spanner tomorrow and grind it down and chop it in half so it will go in, still got to remove the injector pipes though!
