  • HELP Water problems (with a KZN185 not me)

    Hi all
    I've got a leaky part thats connected the block or lower engine, its on the driver side in-between the AC pump and the alternator, its square at block side and then a small water pipe comes out,
    The problem is it has a hole But how do i replace it??????? any ideas

    I'll try to up-load some pics which will prob help ,,,,,

    Part number is 90405-10044. Never seen one of those before but it looks like it is pressed into the block. If that's the case, then removing the hose and twisting it may be the way to remove it. If installing a new one then some type of hard setting sealant may be needed.

      For a temporary fix in the mean time, sellys kneed it, or minute ment.
      Two part grey paste the you kneed together and sets hard as rock and seals up nicely.

      Idealy replace it properly as Nev says and I agree, but I swear by the stuff for temporary repairs and keep it handy for emergency repairs when out 4wding, fixes damn near anything


      (sealed my split tank on copper top radiator for 2 years till I got around to replacing it)

      Its a new truck, Because every parts been replaced
