Gen. 3 dash facia radio removal

Hi folks,
I have a gen 3 which still has the original limited wavelength radio which I would like to replace.
It looks as though the large black plastic trim piece on the front of the dash surrounding the radio and switch panel needs to come off first but what is the best way to get this piece off without damaging it please ?

I think I started at the gear lever surround then worked my way up to the radio,
There are few hidden screws so check you have them all out.
Use some silicon on reassemly to stop any rattles.

Radio replacement

Cheers, looks like this is a going to be a slightly bigger job than I thought.

Its not a massive job, First thing you do is prize off the plastic surround for the heater control knobs, no wait; thats the second thing, first of all you remove the wee knobs on the heater control sliders themselves: they just pull off, then gently ; using a thin blade prize off the surround: That exposes a couple of screws , after that its just a matter of gently lifting bits off and fumbling your way round
