Weird won't start

Hi Guys,

So, just moved the truck off the drive to get the kids bikes in the back - worked fine.

Put the kids bikes in the back - now it won't start.

There's a loud clicking, and all the lights on the dash flash on and off - but that's all. Doesn't fire up at all.

Then, when I stop, there's a brief but audible noise from somewhere in the engine that sounds like somethings resetting or something

Battery connections clean and tight?

Could also be worn contacts in the starter.

Starter motor sticking is my guess.

Is there a quick fix? Wd a jump start help?

If you definately have enough battery power and you think its the starter contacts sticking, you could try giving the starter a knock when the key is turned to see if it loosens it up. wouldnt really advocate hitting mechanical devices with hammers .....usually....... but if its an emergency and you need to get it started......

Boring old flat batteries in the end....cold got to em and a jump start sorted. Time for some new ones methinks.
