vehicle taking along time to start

check engine light came on di other day an an i couldnt accelerate beyond 20 km/s or get more than 2000 rpms, i had a technician had a look at it an the problem was a bad bad relay near the gas pedal...but b4 he discovered that he had removed a sensor on the top of the fuel pump that seem to interact with a gear in the pump......since then then im having trouble starting....glow plus and battaries are ok.....please help...

You need to do a diagnostics check, he may have broken a wire at the fuel pump.

ok thanks i will check that...the check light is now going on an off...an wen its off the vehicle stars perfectly but wens its on there lies the problem
