    cant inflate my tyres!!

    Hi hope someone can help me. i cant inflate my tyres. The stems on the tyre are too short i have tried using an extension but the tyre will not inflate . I even tried taking the nut off that holds the stem on so the compressor would fit on but no air seems to be going into my tyres ..this is the same for all four!!
    my back two are on 14 psi at the moment! totally flummoxed!!!

    Have you tried more than one inflater? If you're getting a pressure reading, you should be able to inflate it.

      yes went to three seperate garages just wont take in any air...

          yes all four wheels are the same i cant actually get the inflater on without removing the nut holding the stem on but obviously this will allow air to escape if iam not careful.... wonder if new valve stems can correct it ...?

            Yep, that's what I would do, I'd get the complete stem replaced.
